Yangí is a red rock that is sacred in the worship of the òrìṣà Èṣù. It is used by Èṣù worshippers daily on offerings of palm oil (one of Èṣù's favorite foods) to cool Èṣù's temper. He is often praised as "Èṣù Yangí Bàbá Aláàṣé, meaning Èṣù of Yangí, the one with authority. See Agbéyangí.
