Ìtumọọ Ewinletí
In Cuban usage, the belief is that it means "the ears of Obatala." In Yorùbá language, Iwínlétí means "the forest spirit/fairy (O̩bàtálá) has ears (listens to petitions)"

In Cuban Òrìṣà tradition, ewin- and egüin- are used as prefixes for a number of names of Ọbàtálá initiates. Cuban practitioners believe that ewin- or egüin- means snail. This rendition is used among practitioners of cuban orisa tradition.
