Stop dying.

It is most likely a name given to a child believed to have followed a long line of àbikú children who die as soon as they're born. 'Yeku is an imperative to "stop dying." It is probably a wrong spelling my ancestors settled for but it is different from "Ọ̀yẹ̀kú" (of the Ifa, for example). It is NOT a short form.' - James Yékú
