Chief Ọbáfẹ́mi Jeremiah Oyèníyì Awólọ́wọ̀, GCFR, SAN (6 March 1909 – 9 May 1987) Born in Ikenne in Ogun State, Nigeria First Premier of the Western Region 1952 to 1959 Federal Commissioner for Finance Vice Chairman of the Federal Executive Council in the Civil War Head of Action Group Chancellor of the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and Ahmadu Bello University. He was the Losi of Ikenne, Lisa of Ijeun, Asíwájú of Rẹ́mọ, Ọ̀dọ̀fin of Ọ̀wọ̀, Ajagunlá of Adó-Èkìtì, Àpésìn of Òsogbo, Odole of Ifẹ̀ and Obong Ikpa Isong of Ibibioland.
