Fihànká:

Ìtumọọ Dossoumon

This is a French-African version of the Yorùbá name "Dòsùnmú".

Àwọn àlàyé mìíràn

The original name, spelt either as Dòsùmú or Dòsunmú, is a name common in the Lagos area, particularly among the ruling house. (See: Dòsùnmú). This French-African variation is common in Benin Republic, Togo, and every other place in French West Africa where Yorùbá emigration has taken root. The name was, for a while in colonial Nigeria, also spelt as Docemo.
